The business can trace its roots back to the mid war years (around 1934) and originally traded for many years in the style of E.Tongue (Failsworth) & Co, and as the name indicated, was based in the Failsworth district of Manchester. In 2008 the stock and trade of Oppenheimer Engineering Services was purchased by us. This was a long established company specialising within the stainless steel ball valve market and it's “NTC” brand had proved to be both well known and respected throughout the industry. Following the purchase, all stock was transferred to Newton Heath from where the business continued to be operated, integrating the newly acquired range of NTC valves with the company's own range of branded valve products.

The NTC valve range is a High Performance, High Quality, Innovative range of products and accessories that provide competitive solutions to many of today's Process, Petrochemical, Chemical, Food, Dairy and Brewing applications. The NTC Valve range was introduced to complement our already well established and successful ETG Valve product range. A number of our products are totally unique to our company. From the initial concept through to the finished product arriving onto our shelves, we have worked closely and carefully with our manufacturing partners to ensure that the products meet our stringent specifications.

We wanted to create a website that you would consider as an essential tool to your business and not just ours. In order for us to do this we have tried to make the site as easy to navigate as possible, including recently updating it to be Tablet & Mobile "Friendly". Each product page has it's own set of technical literature available to view and/or download and print whenever you require. The majority of the products within the NTC valve range are offered with direct mount style top works for automation purposes. In order to size the correct actuator to match the valve we have designed a “quick reference” sizing application on each page that gives you both the valve top works and the bare torque of the valve in a single click of a button.
